Lawsuits filed against Facebook in wake of Cambridge Analytics revelations

Both Facebook users and shareholders have filed class actions asserting that Facebook acted wrongfully in allowing personal data to be misused for political purposes.
Shareholders seek to recover for stock losses incurred when the Cambridge Analytics news became public. Users are asserting that Facebook breached its promise not to realease their data without permission or notice.
